Car Accident Tragedy in Hyderabad

A tragic accident in Hyderabad claimed the lives of six people, including three children, when their speeding car collided with a parked lorry on May 1, 2026. The incident occurred on the Outer Ring Road near Exit 16 while the victims were returning home from a visit to the Yadagirigutta temple.

The deceased included Bolli Shivakumar (37), Bolli Lasya (35), and their daughter Bolli Rishita (7). Also among the victims were Kodam Srinivas (40) and his son Kodam Madhav (10). One woman survived the crash with serious injuries.

The driver reportedly fell asleep before the collision, which has raised concerns about road safety in the area. Eyewitnesses noted that the car was speeding at the time of impact.

The victims hailed from Rajanna Sircilla district and were part of two families traveling together. Their tragic loss has left their community in mourning.
