Noida International Airport will begin commercial flight operations on June 15, 2026, establishing itself as a vital hub for passengers and cargo in North India.
The airport is among the largest greenfield airport projects in India, developed with an investment of approximately 11,200 crore rupees. Initially, it will have a passenger handling capacity of 12 million passengers per annum, with plans to scale up to 70 million passengers per annum upon full development.
This new facility aims to connect the greater Delhi area and Western Uttar Pradesh with major cities across India and internationally. IndiGo will operate the first flight from Noida International Airport.
The commencement of these services follows the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the approval of the Aerodrome Security Programme by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.
Observers expect this airport to significantly enhance regional connectivity and stimulate economic growth through its Public-Private Partnership model. However, details regarding further operational specifics remain to be clarified.
