The UPPSC Mains Examination 2026 was conducted on March 29, 2026, coinciding with the declaration of UPPCS 2024 results. Neha Panchal emerged as the top candidate in the UPPCS 2024 examination, which aimed to fill a total of 947 vacant posts.
Out of these, 932 posts have been successfully filled, indicating a high level of competition and achievement among candidates. The examination process for UPPCS 2024 began with the preliminary examination held on December 22, 2024, which saw approximately 5.76 lakh applicants.
From this large pool, 15,066 candidates qualified for the main examination, which took place from June 29 to July 2, 2025. Following the mains, interviews were conducted from February 16 to March 20, 2026, further narrowing down the candidates.
The results revealed that 613 men and 319 women were selected, highlighting a women’s success rate of 34.22% in this competitive examination. This figure reflects the ongoing efforts to encourage female participation in civil services.
In addition to the UPPCS 2024 results, the UPPSC is currently conducting the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2025, which aims to fill 200 vacancies.
