As part of the updated schedule, candidates will receive a city intimation slip 5-7 days before the exam, while the admit card will be released 2-3 days prior. The exam will be conducted in four shifts each day, with the first shift reporting time set for 7:45 AM, and the exam starting at 9:00 AM.
In light of the postponement, officials have encouraged candidates to continue their preparation and utilize the extra time effectively. One statement noted, “Candidates should continue preparation and utilize the extra time effectively.” Another added, “The postponement of SSC GD Constable 2026 may feel uncertain, but it also provides a valuable chance to improve preparation.”
Furthermore, candidates will be awarded full marks for ambiguous or incorrect questions in the exam, while negative marking will still apply for incorrect responses as per existing rules. Ashish Srivastava remarked, “Even a single well-supported objection may lead to acceptance, while multiple weak objections may be rejected.”
