RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced

RTE Online Lottery Result 2026 Announced

The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE online lottery result for 2026, revealing that over 6.3 lakh applicants have participated in the process for free seats in private schools. This year’s lottery results come after a significant application period, which saw a total of 19.92 lakh applications submitted for admissions across 33,137 private schools in the state.

Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. The lottery system is designed to ensure a fair selection process for students seeking free education under the Right to Education Act. Parents can check the results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in.

During the application process, which commenced on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026, parents were allowed to select a maximum of five schools for their children. This year, the application process included provisions for third-gender students, with three applications received from this demographic.

To finalize their admissions, selected students must present several documents for verification, including an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. Schools will be verifying these documents until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all necessary criteria are met before classes commence.

Classes for all admitted students are scheduled to begin on April 1, 2026. Additionally, parents have the opportunity to change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. If any seats remain vacant after the first round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will take place on April 7, 2026.

Parents who wish to raise grievances regarding the admission process can do so through the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This mechanism is in place to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the admission process.

The lottery system for selecting students for free seats in private schools under the Right to Education Act has been a critical component of educational policy in Rajasthan. As the education landscape continues to evolve, observers are keenly watching how these admissions will impact access to quality education for students across the state.
