The week is themed around Technology, Tradition, and Tangible Outcomes, reflecting the multifaceted approach required to modernize governance.

During this week, civil servants will engage in a variety of activities, including webinars, workshops, and courses on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. This integration of technology into governance has been a focus for the past 11 years, and it is expected to enhance the skills and knowledge of government employees significantly.

Furthermore, the initiative coincides with the Foundation Day of the Capacity Building Commission and celebrates five years of Mission Karmayogi. Modi reiterated the importance of considering the long-term effects of current actions on the country’s progress, stating, “Our aim is 2047. You must think about the effect our current actions will have on the country’s progress.” This vision aligns with the goal of achieving a developed India by 2047.

The Karmayogi initiative is part of a larger strategy to enhance public service in India, ensuring that government employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of modern governance.
