The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the final selection results for the 2023 recruitment of Police Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors. A total of 912 candidates have been selected, which includes 178 female candidates.
This recruitment was conducted to fill 921 vacancies across various positions, including Police Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts. The cutoff marks for the Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential) position were set at 316.26 for unreserved candidates, 299.57 for OBC, and 225.04 for SC candidates.
For the Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk position, the cutoff mark for unreserved candidates was 334.61, while for Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts, it was 318.61. The selection process included horizontal reservations for female candidates, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters.
The merit lists and detailed cutoff information were made available on the official UPPRPB website on March 26, 2026. Candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth.
Of the selected candidates, 242 were from the EWS and Unreserved categories, 464 from Other Backward Classes, 197 from Scheduled Castes, and 9 from Scheduled Tribes. This recruitment process was conducted under the policies issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The selection process also involved a medical examination and verification of educational qualifications, ensuring that all selected candidates meet the necessary criteria.
