Ashok kharat rupali chakankar: Ashok Kharat Case: Allegations of Human Sacrifice and Extortion

Ashok Kharat, a self-styled godman and astrologer, is at the center of a disturbing case involving allegations of human sacrifice and extortion in Nashik, Maharashtra. The situation escalated as police filed two additional rape FIRs against him, bringing the total number of allegations to five instances of human sacrifice.

On October 23, Kharat was remanded to five days of police custody by the Nashik District Sessions Court, where the prosecution presented evidence of his involvement in heinous acts. Notably, assets worth approximately ₹40 crore have been uncovered during the investigation, raising concerns about the extent of his illegal activities.

According to reports, Kharat has traveled to 13 different countries, which may indicate a broader network of criminal operations. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) recovered a revolver, 21 cartridges, and ₹6 lakh in cash from his possession, further solidifying the case against him.

Victims of Kharat have reported experiencing nausea after consuming substances he provided, suggesting a pattern of manipulation and abuse. A pen drive containing videos of Kharat’s victims is also under scrutiny, which could provide crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.

Trupti Desai, a prominent activist, condemned Kharat’s actions, stating, “Ashok Kharat is a pervert. This perversion is eating away at the fabric of Maharashtra.” She emphasized that no one should be above the law, asserting, “If we commit a crime, we are taken into custody, so he should not be protected.”

Public Prosecutor Ajay Misar added that there were suspicions regarding Kharat’s involvement in human sacrifice and hunting deer for skin and musk, highlighting the severity of the allegations.

Kharat has denied any wrongdoing, claiming in court, “I have no knowledge of snakes or tigers, I am hearing it for the first time.” However, the evidence against him continues to mount.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are expected to delve deeper into Kharat’s activities and connections. With over 1,500 women reportedly suffering injustices at his hands, the case has sparked outrage and demands for justice.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the full extent of Kharat’s operations and the potential involvement of others in this alarming case. The coming days will be critical as more information is anticipated to emerge from the ongoing investigation.
