RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced

RTE Online Lottery Result 2026 Announced

The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE online lottery result for 2026, revealing that over 630,000 applicants have participated in the process for free seats in private schools across the state. This lottery system is a crucial component of the Right to Education Act, aimed at providing educational opportunities to underprivileged children.

Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. Parents can check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in. The application process for free admission began on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026, during which a total of 1,992,357 applications were received for admissions in 33,137 private schools.

To facilitate the admission process, parents must provide several documents for verification, including an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. The income threshold for eligibility is set at 250,000 rupees. This year, the lottery system has also seen applications from three third-gender students, reflecting an inclusive approach to education.

Classes for all admitted students are scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026. Parents have the option to change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026, allowing some flexibility in their choices. If seats remain vacant after the first round of allotment, a second phase will be conducted on April 7, 2026, to ensure that more students can benefit from the available opportunities.

Schools will verify the documents of applicants until March 25, 2026. Additionally, parents can register any grievances regarding the admission process on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This mechanism aims to address concerns and ensure transparency throughout the admission process.

The lottery system has been a significant method for selecting students for free seats in private schools under the Right to Education Act, which has been in effect since its inception. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance educational access for marginalized communities in Rajasthan.

As the verification process unfolds, observers are keenly watching how many students will successfully secure their places in the schools of their choice. Details remain unconfirmed regarding the final number of students who will be able to enroll after the verification phase concludes.
