IOCL Announces 405 Apprentice Positions for 2026
The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has officially announced the recruitment of 405 Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentice positions. This recruitment drive is significant as it aims to provide valuable training and job opportunities in the Western Region of India.
The online application process commenced on March 11, 2026, and will remain open until March 26, 2026. Candidates interested in applying must ensure they submit their applications within this timeframe.
These apprenticeship opportunities are available across several states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu. This wide geographical reach underscores IOCL’s commitment to fostering talent across the region.
To qualify for these positions, candidates must be between 18 and 24 years of age as of February 28, 2026. Specific educational qualifications are required for different apprentice categories. Technician Apprentice candidates must possess a three-year full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline, achieving at least 50% marks for the General category and 45% for reserved categories.
Trade Apprentice candidates are required to have completed Matriculation along with a two-year ITI course in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT or SCVT. For Graduate Apprentice positions, a full-time bachelor’s degree in any discipline is mandatory, along with the required minimum marks.
Additionally, candidates applying for Data Entry Operator roles must have completed Class 12, with further skill certification necessary for those in the skilled category. The selection process will be merit-based, with no written examination or interview involved.
The apprenticeship training period is set for 12 months, providing candidates with practical experience in their respective fields. Applications must be submitted through the NAPS or NATS portals only, ensuring a streamlined application process.
