Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram Welcome Their First Child
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, born on March 10, 2026. This joyous occasion coincides with Hooda’s father’s birthday, adding a special significance to the day.
The couple, who married in 2023 in a traditional ceremony featuring Meitei rituals, announced their pregnancy on their second wedding anniversary in 2025. Hooda expressed his gratitude to Lin for bringing their daughter into the world, stating, “Happy birthday to grandfather and granddaughter. Today, as I become a father, my appreciation for you has only grown deeper, Papa. And most importantly – Lin, thank you for making me a father and for bringing our little girl into this world. A little girl, and a lifetime of love.”
Prior to the birth, the couple shared their maternity shoot photographs, celebrating their journey to parenthood. Lin Laishram reflected on the experience, saying, “The arrival of our child is a beautiful gift after the challenging phase,” alluding to their previous miscarriage before the birth of their daughter.
Hooda, who last appeared in the film “Jaat” released in 2025, has been open about his excitement for fatherhood. Shortly after the birth, he shared moments from the hospital, including a photo with a poster that read, “Stay calm and be a dad.” This lighthearted approach highlights his eagerness to embrace his new role.
Laishram, known for her role in “Jaane Jaan” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2023, has also expressed her joy in becoming a mother. The couple’s relationship has blossomed over the years, dating for several years before making their relationship official on Instagram in 2022.
