Ranganath emphasized, “Praneeth Antilia is not a Gated Community as per HMDA approved plan.” This statement has fueled further discontent among those who feel their living conditions are being unjustly altered.
The compound wall had previously been demolished by HYDRAA on June 24, 2025, but was rebuilt, leading to ongoing disputes over road access and community status. Residents have expressed frustration over the repeated interventions by HYDRAA, citing safety concerns and the disruption of their established lifestyle.
In response to complaints about road blockage, HYDRAA issued notices to remove the compound wall, which has been a focal point of contention in the area. The authority has begun laying a BT road along the cleared stretch, indicating a commitment to improving infrastructure for the benefit of multiple colonies in the vicinity.
